NOTE:
(Using this form to obtain quotes) - We normally quote on the
cheapest fares or promotional fares that apply at the time of
the quotation. In order for us to get the actual or best prices,
we must make an actual reservation that is presented to the discount
rate desk of the airline. All air quotations
are valid for 48 hours only after quoting. The
prices quoted will be valid at time of inquiry. It is subject
to change. Land quotations are subject to the exchange rate at
time of payment.
Note, Andetur
is a travelclub, not just another travel agent. In Brazil we are
also licensed as 'tour operators'. Our USA office actually markets
'wholeale' to travel agents and other tour operators.. Our work
mainly is for our own club members or prospective members. If
you have a cheaper fare quoted from a travel agent or airline,
or wish a more direct or different routing, please advise. If
it is a legitimate quote, we can almost always match it or beat
it. Please do not ask us to quote on 'APPLES' against 'ORANGES'!
Most 'cheapo' fares to not make good connections and you end up
spending what you think you save on extra hotels and lost time.
Tour operations operate on 'time schedules' and if you miss connections
... they do not wait!
WARNING!
In most cases we make actual reservations at the time of quoting.
Again, all air quotations are valid for 48 hours only. If space
is critical on the airlines ..... and you have another travel
agent that is 'blocking space' .... it is airline policy that
they will cancel both reservations as they consider this 'double
booking'.
Air fares
quoted as part of a 'package' are always cheaper, but sometimes
have more restrictions. We sell Air Passes, but sometimes this
is not the cheapest way. The air pass has to be 'tied to' the
International ticket and is only available only outside the destination
country. All air tickets are 'non-refundable' except in the case
of death. Some segments may be changed by paying an extra cost.
FARE
CHECKER SERVICE
- This is a fee based service ($ 10.00 for club members, $ 25.00
for non-members). The purpose of the service is to insure that
you have the best possible fare. We check all of our resources
including online to provide you with the best alternatives at
a better price. Of course. if you already have the best fare (within
$ 25.00) we tell you and there is no charge. EMail your details
(Origination and Destination City, Dates, fare you were given,
and any stops or combination of cities). We assume you are flexible
within limits.
Land reservations,
i.e. hotels, tours, rental cars, special services are by special
contract the club maintains with the operators or the services.
This sometimes means that at least one person in a party is a
club member. We have a 'special' temporary membership available
for US$ 50.00 which is often more than saved in the overall cost
of the trip. Club members are not charged this fee.
A minimum
deposit of US$ 300 is required on most trips. Payment by credit
card that requires a 'cash transfer' to the hotel or operator
incurs a 5% fee on the actual cash amount to be transferred. Most
land reservations require a 'cash deposit'... normally 50% at
least 60 days before departure ... and during 'high season' most
require that the entire costs - 100% - be paid in advance.
All credit
card payments require a signed authorization to be faxed to Andetur.

If a confirmation
is made within 30 days of departure, full payment must be sent
to our offices by an overnight delivery service. Confirmations
within 30 days incur a $50 late confirmation fee because of the
additional costs of processing late confirmations. Payments made
within 14 days before departure must be in the form of a bank
check or money order. Late confirming passengers may incur expenses
should we be required to send documents by courier to overseas
operations or to passengers.
All
passenger names and contact information must be on all inquiries
and the names must be the same as on their passport. We do not
process 'blind inquiries'. Changes of names could
cause loss of the confirmation or reservation. If children are
involved, please indicate their ages by their names. Passports
and visas are required by all American citizens; citizens of some
European countries are excepted. Children (under 16) traveling
with only one 'natural' parent require special permission from
the other 'natural parent', notarized and authenticated by the
consul (Visa forms and minors release are available by email attachment
upon request). Without a proper visa, or the 'Minors Release Form'
if required, passengers will not be allowed to board.
