Our Pantanal tour packages are quoted all inclusive and are 'put together' or designed for individual clients or groups as packages according to their preferences, and often include air - both commercial and 'air taxi' when needed, airport transfers, special day tours, accomodations, and qualified guides. These 'packages' are often combined with visits to other parts of Brazil, often highly discounted to Andetur club members and clients.

ARARAS PANTANAL ECO-LODGE

Located on the Transpantaneira Park Road, 82 miles south of Cuiabá, capital of Mato Grosso.

 

Of rustic and regional construction, the lodge offers 15 air conditioned standard rooms with screened windows, ceiling fan, private baths (cold and hot shower). Excellent regional food is served .. has a bar, swimming pool with an adjoining kiosk - covered deck, large verandas with hammocks and an exciting tree top look out.

 

They offer a variety of ecological activities, rich in adventure and excitement.

Tours include canoe trips, horseback rides, night tours, observation tower and bicycles.

POUSADA PIUVAL

The lodge is located 110 KM from Cuiabá, the capital of Mato Grosso state, and only 10 KM of Poconé.

It has 12 guest rooms with air conditioning and ceiling fans, private bathrooms, and screened-in windows providing fresh air. There is also a restaurant that serves typical Pantanal meals, a 29-inch TV with satellite dish, swimming pool, volleyball court, and playground equipment. They offer tours with local guides and include hiking trails, horseback riding and cart rides, boat trips and fishing.

ALTA FLORESTA- South of the Brazilian Amazon Basin, the world’s largest continous tropical rainforest, is the Cristalino Forest Reserve. It has been designated a Brazilian natural heritage because of its rare beauty and unique biological diversity. The region is internationally renowed for rare birds species, with many oportunities to do first class birdwatching, trek in a pristine rainforest, swim in a crystal clear river, canoe, raft, indulge in catch and release fishing, or just relax

ÁGUAS QUENTES- *Leaving in the morning for the “Serra de São Vicente”, on the edge of the Pantanal, sighting of different forms of vegetation on the way. Descending, we arrive at the hot water baths of Águas Quentes”, with its mineral water pools of different temperatures (up to 45 C), originating from radioactive magnesium, excellent for the treatment of rheumatism and high blood pressure. Arriving at 9:00 A.M. , the whole day is free for bathing and various games. Lunch. Return to Cuiabá at 5:00 due to arrive at 6:30 P.M.

SERRA DAS ARARAS- *Important ecological station, studied by various scientists, the Serra das Araras consists of a complex of ecosystems with samples of the Amazon Forest, Savannah and Pantanal. Source of the River Paraguay, which in turn receives all the water from the Pantanal plain and then releasing into the Silver Basin, the area is considered very important from the conservational aspect. A site for observing animals in danger of extinction and a very distinct vegetation, the region also has limestone cave formations where pre-historical animal fossils were recently found.

Notes: In the low season (Nov-Apr), when the roads can get bad, we can have you only stay at lodge suggested to save time and money.

At the end of the Wet Season (Feburary to April), just in front of the lodge, we can take the canoes, to navigate the Flooded Field to the mound-hills where we can offer trekking!

Before the end of the Wet Season. the Baía do Piuval is full of water, offering a longer boat trip, with a spectacular sunset taken from the center of the lake! Fishing is also possible. The night safari is done to just the area surrounding the guest's house.

In the Wet Season, animals are looking for higher places, and the Piuval has plenty of those mound-hills. After the end of the Wet Season, when the land is getting dry, this is the first place to attract the migratory birds in their return to the Pantanal).
