Andetur's Travel Advisory Trip Planning Service

Our staff members, are guided by Capt Donald, who has traveled extensively since 1979 when he first moved to Brazil. He worked several years with Brazilian government agencies planning projects throughout the interior of the country. He knows the roads most traveled by, and he’s also explored nooks and crannies that guidebook writers never reach. Capt. Donald is a certified destination management specialist for Brazil. Now you can draw on our experience when planning your trip to Brazil.

How does this work?

The initial contact is free, but after we agree to terms, subsequent exchanges are subject to a fee. To get started, contact Capt. Donald via e-mail, telephone or fax:

Telephone: BRAZIL 55 84 3201- 5092
E-mail: dreid@andetur.com.br

How much will this cost?

The travel planning consulting fee is $75 an hour. In exceptional cases, if your question is simple and easy, we can break that hour into a smaller chunk. The minimum charge for each session is $25.

How can I make this cheaper?

By preparing as much as possible in advance. Read guidebooks and check out websites. Or join our Travel Club as a full member. All services are then included as part of your membership. Come to us with the specific questions that you can’t answer elsewhere.

Who pays for the phone calls?

You do. If we have to call you, we’ll have to add the cost to your bill.

What can I ask?

Anything you want, but remember that the clock is ticking. And you’re paying. Usually it is best to do some homework first. Formulate specific questions that will best help you plan your trip. The more specific the question, the better we can respond, and the less you will pay.

How often can I call?

As often as you like - always subject to those hourly charges, of course.

Can this be handled via e-mail only?

Sure. The same hourly rates apply.

How do I pay?

We accept checks, money orders and bank transfers. We can receive credit card payments (MasterCard and Visa) via PayPal.

How long will this take?

If Capt. Donald is at his home in Brazil, the time will depend mostly on the complexity of your query. If he is on the road or on tour, which is often the case, you may have to wait until he completes his assignment and returns home. Many times, if he is in the Andetur home office in Natal ... or somewhere he can use his 'laptop' ... the same charges apply.

Can you plan my entire itinerary?

In a general sense, yes. We can suggest places to visit and outline the logistics for you. Then we can make make reservations through our offices in Brazil, the USA, or Europe. We are certified and licensed tour operators and wholsale consolidators.
