MotelMax Series 100 - Windows 95/98 and PousadaMax - Portugese Version

PousadaMax or MotelMax Win95/98 manages reservations, advance deposits, guest check-in / check-out and provides extensive reports on your business activity.  Rooms can be booked from the reservation grid, the daily register of guests or selected from a visual calendar display called the room rack. Room rates are calculated automatically from rate tables that you build.

You can build custom form letters using rich text formatting for confirmation letters and deposits or for developing marketing strategies. You can print envelopes and address labels. For group bookings, custom group confirmation forms and group billing statements can be printed.

The program comes preset with sample data so you can begin using it right away. You can customize the set-up as you go along by adding your own rooms and rate tables.

This is a shareware program and is provided for your full evaluation. All data entered into this evaluation copy exports automatically into the registered version. When you register your copy, you do not have to start over or re-key anything.

PousadaMax - Portugese Version - BETA

This version of the program has been adapted for use in Brazil and Portugal. Additonal reports, letters and documentation in Portuguese will be added periodically. To download PousadaMax, click here: PousadaMax - Portugese version.   

Import Data from MotelMax DOS

If you are a registered user of MotelMax DOS v3.0 or later, you can import data from MotelMax DOS into the Windows 95 version of the program, using our utility program Max2win. It takes only a few seconds to run the data conversion. You can download this utililty program by clicking here: Max2Win - Data Import Utility Program.  

The windows version can run in parallel with the DOS version until you are satisfied everything is properly converted. At some point you can discontinue using the DOS version and convert exclusively to the Win95/98 version.

User Guide

The MotelMax User Guide is provided in MS-Word 7 format to registered users of the program. The illustrated user guide provides a complete overview of the program to help get you started. You are encouraged to use the user guide as a starting document to build your own custom user guide to address the specific needs of your site.

How to Order

Order by E~Mail. To order by E~Mail, (dreid9@earthlink.net).  Access the  program help topic How to Order and print a copy of the Order Form.  Complete the order form information including your site name and credit card information and include this information in your E~Mail.   Please include your email address. We can send your  registration codes to you by email within a few minutes of processing the order.  If up are worried about security, encrypt the e~mail with the Norton security software.  Download Norton Security.  Select your own encryption password, and send this password in a separate message.

Order by Fax. Access the  program help topic How to Order and print a copy of the Order Form. Complete the order form information including your site name and credit card information. Fax the form to +1 281-488-6840 or +1 603-250-5298. Please include your email address. We can send your registration codes to you by email within a few minutes of processing the order.

Order by Mail. Send the completed order form to the address listed on the form. Include payment or credit card information. If at all possible include an email address so we can send the registration codes when the order is processed. MotelMax Win95/98 Features

Following is a partial list of features. Each new version is compatible with all prior versions of the program. If you are currently running MotelMax Win95/98, install this latest version over your existing version of the program to benefit from the latest features:

• Daily Register - displays a list of all guests arriving, staying over or departing for any given day. All major program functions such as adding, editing and deleting reservations; guest check-in and check-out, adding and editing charges and payments can be run from the Daily Register. • Visual Room Selection - when booking a room you can select an available room from a visual display of room availability called the Room Rack. The color coded room select grid shows which rooms are booked and the name of the guest booked into that room. Move around the grid until you find an available room. • Call Tracking - Optional - PousadaMax or MotelMax can interface with call tracking systems. Phone charges are downloaded and copied to the guest folios automatically. The program can also cost phone charges if needed. All phone calls are archived for review. This is an optional add-on feature.

• More than 50 Reports - there are reports for reservations, current guests and accounting. Other reports are used for tracking guest activity. Output is specially suited for laser printers using, grids, shading and mixed font sizes and styles.

• Unlimited Rate Codes - there is no limit to the number of rate codes you can build. Special rates can be created for groups, corporate guests, senior citizens, etc. The program calculates rates on a day to day basis so if a guest's stay extends into a new season, the room rates can be adjusted accordingly.

• Instant Room Rates - when you add or edit a reservation the program instantly calculates the room rate as you complete the reservation form. Each change to the arrival date, number of nights or room type causes the program to recalculate the total room charges and taxes during the reservation process. Once the reservation is saved, you can preview the folio/invoice to ensure all room rates and taxes are correctly applied.

• Guest History - for each guest the program records the number of stays, number of nights and total revenue. You can compile guest notes and guest codes to help in future bookings. Assign guests to one or more mailing lists for letter and label printing. Enter a guest just once and reuse the guest name and address information for each return visit. Review the guest note and code to assist in repeat reservations.

• Custom Letters - create custom reservation form letters using different font styles and sizes. Use these letters for confirmations and notification of advanced deposits received. Text substitution keys let you personalize the letters for each guest.

• Envelope Printing - use your laser printer to quickly and easily print envelopes for your reservation and guest letters.

• Email Guests - store guest email addresses so you can email guests from within the PousadaMax or MotelMax program. Create email templates that use specific information from a reservation or guest record to personalize the email message.

• Help File - PousadaMax and MotelMax include a standard Windows 95 hypertext help file comprised of general and context sensitive help.
