** Brazilian law requires that controlling interest in any commercial vessel is registered to Brazilian national or a company registered in Brazil. We already have the maritime company registered as Caçadores do Mar (Sea Hunters) Ltda. since 1984. Both present partners are professional captains, one (Capt. Donald Reid) is the owner of the Andetur tour operation in Natal. The other partner, Cap. Ivandro Molina, Brazilian, is a professional sailing captain with several years experence in Jamica. The operating company, Andetur Brasil Ltda., is registered with EMBRATUR as a tour operator and maintains offices in the United States and Brazil.
DETAILS OF THE VESSEL: Classed as a 'saveiro', traditional wooden schooner.
Built in 1960, completely remodeled in 1995, these vessels properly maintained can last 100 years.

Licensed for Tourism with a day capacity of 60 passengers + crew; overnight capacity 12 passengers.

Accessories: 2 anchors, 2 centrifical pumps, 1 bilge pump, compass, electrical lighting, full navigational lights, 3 batteries, stereo sound system, complete galley, inflatable service boat.
Master cabin presently has three bunks, which will be extended to six, American style galley, 2 heads, and shower.
Owned and operated by present owner for 7 years. Vessel is well known in the tourist guides of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
CONDITIONS OF INVESTMENT:
The vessel is presently in the port od Salvador, Bahia, Brazil and must be delivered to Natal where it will be operated as a day charter boat along the coast, with occasional charters to the Island of Fernando do Noronho, some 300 km off the coast of Rio Grande do Norte.
The objective of the investment is to start a sailing charter operation along this coast where only one other small day charter operation exists presently, and to start the business of charters to the island. The schooner will be leased to and operated by Andetur Brasil, who has all of the necessary licenses to operate the tourism business.
The vessel will be completely equipped for 'diving charters' as well as cruising.
The investor(s) must agree that the initial profits will be applied to the construction of a larger schooner - 85" +/- to be built by local yards. His / their share(s) of the business will apply to the larger vessel as well.
