Redinha, Redinha Nova e Santa Rita

This beach and fishing village to directly across from Natal on the River Potengi.  Home of the famous cachew festival. There is presently a ferry that connects Natal to Redinha and the beaches to the north.

The new bridge, due to be finished this year, for the Via Costeira to the north, is at this point.

Redinha is an old fishing village, with a view of the city of Natal as shown in the picture on the left. A few kilometers to the north is Redinha Nova, then the village of Santa Rita and Genipabu.

The area is developing fairly quickly. The prefeitura (mayors office) of Natal recently invested a lot of money on the beach at Redinha modernizing with new kiosks and paved sidewalks.

With the new bridge project presently being constructed, the entire north zone properties will increase in value.

Another interesting project is the new marina that is being constructed in Natal alongside the new bridge on the Natal side.
